Top movement corridors
Countries that appear as both a top destination and a top origin (like Turkey) are transit hubs — people arrive and then move on.

Recorded movement into Europe & the United States
In 2025, 11,455,483 people were recorded arriving in the European Union and the United States — out of 23,396,252 recorded leaving Muslim-majority countries, African countries and India, or about 49% of all recorded departures. Below, that intake is split into how many were recorded entering Europe and how many the United States. These are separate origin and destination counts — they describe a pattern, not proof that every departure ended in these destinations.
Not everyone travels end to end. Countries such as Turkey both receive and pass on large numbers, so this figure counts recorded departures, not completed journeys. See Top movement corridors in the atlas for the transit picture.
